Project Manager

Remote

The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Project Management and be responsible for a segment of the company’s 40+ traveling exhibitions. These exhibitions range from two truck exhibitions to twenty-five truck exhibitions.

Responsabilités:

  • Manage all details of traveling or permanent exhibitions; from A to Z. Design, fabrication, install, removal, operations.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with Clients, partners, designers, operations team, and production managers of the exhibition as well as host venues around the world, insurance carriers, logistic companies, production related vendors such as printers, fabricators, designers, etc.

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Ability to travel (international and domestic), work weekends, holidays, evenings as required.

  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a variety of environments with differing noise levels, lighting conditions, etc.

  • On-site exhibition build and deinstallation coordination.

  • Coordinating all shipping logistics worldwide of traveling exhibitions.

  • Create and manage artifact and content lists in coordination with the design team.

  • Create and share load in and load off budgets.

  • Coordinate the installation and de-installation of traveling exhibitions.

  • Order exhibition parts; create and maintain supplies list.

  • Maintain contact database of crew and the like.

  • Create and maintain relationships and liaise with venues, museums, promoters and partners as lead contact.

  • Managing all details of multiple turn-key traveling exhibitions; booking air and ground travel for crew, logistic and schedule approvals from host venue, operational support for host venue, communicating detailed plans for travel and work to road crew.

  • Assisting Accounting Department with collecting and approving crew invoices, reconciling expenses and billing host venues.

  • Coordinating floorplan approvals between Design Department, Operations Department, Production Manager and host venue.

  • Coordinating and reviewing language translations and reprinting of exhibition text materials as necessary.

  • Maintaining shared files of each show (photos, manuals, schedules, print files, etc.).

  • Maintaining excellent customer service with all host museums and venues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Compétences requises :

  • 5+ years of experience in tour venue routing and planning.

  • Must possess a high level of attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills from talking to venues to talking with teams internally.

  • Computer software skills including Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.

  • Time management skills.

  • Must possess a results-oriented work ethic.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Skilled in Excel.

  • Skilled in Smartsheet.

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer.

  • Correctable vision and hearing.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Clear, easy to understand oral communication ability.

  • Ability to life 50 pounds occasionally for the purpose of moving equipment on and off shelves.

  • Ability to sit for long periods.

  • Capability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Skilled in the use of computer and office equipment.

  • Proficient in activities requiring manual dexterity of both hands.

  • Travel domestically and/or internationally based on business need.

  • Primarily a remote position.
