Production Manager

The Production Manager will report directly to the Senior Production Manager and will be responsible for the coordinating, technical planning, and onsite management of multiple traveling exhibitions. The position requires domestic and international travel to actively supervise the carpentry, lighting, and audio-visual aspects of each Load In and Load Out of the exhibitions. This person is a part of the Production team at Imagine Exhibitions, whose responsibility is to manage the logistics and installation for the portfolio of 40+ traveling exhibitions. A successful candidate will create a process for this role, communicate well across multiple teams, juggle multiple projects simultaneously while enjoying working in a fast-paced, growing company. A successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and understand that at Imagine Exhibitions, our team members are the “secret sauce” to our success.
Responsibilities:
Site visits and advancing the installation.
Managing equipment and supply lists.
Building installation and supply budgets, including receipt tracking.
Reviewing and approving floor plans of assigned exhibitions.
Crew scheduling.
Working with Project Manager to develop production schedules.
Onsite management of traveling and local crews, scenic installations, lighting, audio visual.
Positive client interactions.
Installing projects of varying sizes and complexity.
Supporting Project Manager in all technical aspects of exhibitions.
Required Competencies:
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including talking to venues, talking with teams internally, and managing a large crew.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of organization.
Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly developed problem-solving skills and persistence.
Results-oriented work ethic.
Tour experience desirable.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, and Smartsheet
